Wow. So the new Smashing Pumpkins single "Tarantula" is . . . uhhhhh...
Damn. I hate it, but I don't. It still sounds like Billy's recent stuff, give or take some over-compensation on the guitars to prove that "he can still rock!". It's not entirely bad musically. (The lyrics are another, what vapid pile of guttersludge did he congeal "I want to be there when you're happy / I want to love you when you're sad."? Makes me want to die for just having heard it.)
Got Odin Sphere on the 24th and it's going to be eating my life for the forseeable future. I can see where people are having trouble with the load times and such, but it doesn't really bother me. A game has to have constant hideous load delays (Looking at you Killer 7 for PS2.) for me to notice them, and I'll still play it if the game is awesome enough. (Tactics Ogre for PSX comes to mind.)
In brighter music news:
She makes me warm and tingly in all sorts of places .
Highlights include: "Yeah Yeah Beats" and "Streets". All I've listened to so far is the Pioneer EP, I got it in a batch download from 8bitpeoples. I've been to her site before, I'm not sure how I missed the rest of it, but discovering that's there's much more where that came from has just completely made my day.
